(OPIC) WASHINGTON – The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, announced the 2015 schedule for Expanding Horizons, the Agency’s trademark series of traveling workshops designed to help U.S. small businesses grow and expand to developing countries worldwide.

The day-long workshops will teach attendees how to better access the innovative financial tools that OPIC has used for more than 40 years to help U.S. businesses successfully invest in emerging markets. Participants can also register for one-on-one meetings with financial representatives from OPIC and other U.S. government agencies.

Since the launch of Expanding Horizons in 2006, the program has helped educate over 2,900 U.S. business representatives.

In addition to a roster of experts from OPIC’s team of financial officers, Expanding Horizons events also feature local commerce agencies alongside senior federal government representatives from the U.S. Trade Development Agency, the Small Business Administration, the Export-Import Bank of the U.S., and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
